One of the disadvantages of a catamaran is that even a 25ft boat has 50ft of waterline length - and thus 100ft of hull side to scrub. Fortunately we are moored in Bluewater canal where the fresh water flow is a low growth area and the crocs must keep the barnacles at bay. We use a reef run to keep things slippin' along as the old adage rings true - 'Scrub the bum you lose a ton'
