05/06/2008: "Party in the Yasawa's"
An excellent excuse for a celebration was held in the Yasawa Islands when Catherine's father Arthur held his 70th birthday. Whenever something is planned on the water it is always weather dependant and half the party crew were stranded for two days ashore whilst the wind howled and the waves roared. The one constant with weather is change and the calm eventually arrived and the extended Reed family all met on Navini Island for pre-cruise fun. Sereki Mai and Chaotic Harmony sailed north to the Yasawa islands and the celebrations continued at the Blue Lagoon and Sawa-i-lau. Then is was back to Navini for firedancing, hula and partying with the staff of Navini, many of whom have been part of the Reed family for many years. Congratulations Arthur. Thank you very much for your hospitality.
