09/03/2007: "Marking the day"
Life on a boat is marked by moments not determined by a clock. We rise with the sun (and son - Fletcher...). There is usually a QLD somewhere at sundown. And moonrise often determines is the next long route is likely to be a good crossing - with at least the sails visible. This moonrise blasted out of the horizon and two hours later we had a total eclipse. The night was spent on the foredeck of Sereki Mai with Catherine's parents Helen and Arthur.
